I used to drive one of these when I lived in London.

I did not own it though, my friend did. He wanted to sell the car, and figured if he let me drive it, I would end up buying it.

He almost succeeded, till fate intervened. I decided to quit my profession, and go back to Uni, and do another first degree in something completely different.

So, I would have had nowhere to stable the car. I had to pass up on the opportunity.

These became worth a bob or two, and I know it was in almost excellent condition, as I had helped with restoration. (A couple of things still awaited attention)

In retrospect, I should have bought it, and had it professionally stored for three years, but I did not anticipate just how much their value would soar.
